My OC Val! Or Kitty. This is around the time she lost her brother. Her brother bought her a kitten (which is the cat) for her birthday some time ago and now she's remembering that time. Val love cats and cat things. I felt like drawing something with her in it and felt like practicing some shaaade and things.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactTo start off I love the background. It has a lot of depth and the shading is fantastic. The girl and cat on the other hand are very flat and the cats anatomy is a bit funny, it doesn't seem to have any neck whatsoever. The girls anatomy is wonderful and in its own picture or if it had been shaded more like the background would be perfect. The orange stuffed cat is a bit distracting, if I were you I would have made it a more brownish orange so it doesn't stick out so much. This Idea I've definitely seen before, but still it is well drawn and has an impact. Really all I think you have to work on here is animal anatomy and making sure to have a consistent style through the entire picture.
